Project 5GARderobe - Virtual Fitting Room

Purpose
With the advancement of technology, consumers are increasingly shifting from purchasing clothes in physical retail stores to buying them online. The 5GARderobe project aims to support the retail shop while also addressing the environmental impact caused by the high volume of returns in online and mail-order fashion through 5G-powered Augemnted Reality fitting rooms. The solution helps customers virtually try on clothes in real time, reducing the need for physical returns and minimizing environmental impact.
My Role
In this project, I was responsible for key infrastructure and IT support tasks, including:
- Planning, setting up and managing the IT infrastructure to ensure stable system performance
- Administration and optimization of remote access solutions, enabling secure and efficient team collaboration
- Creating technical documentation for project-related systems and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing
- Supporting team members in the integration of their tasks
